Our Route To NYC!!!

So here is the route we plan on taking to New York! We know, we know...it doesn't make much sense but let me tell you why we picked it...

We have gotten an amazing response from fans of LCD and from people who are just inspired by what we are doing. Our plan from the beginning has been to meet up with these fans and that is just what we are going to do!

We will film meet ups in Denver, Austin, Chicago, Philadelphia and then obviously NYC.

This doesn't mean that we won't come by your town however! If you live in any of the above cities or one that is relatively close we would love to meet you! If you want to hang out with us, listen to some music and talk about LCD Soundsystem, or just some share some funny experiences then PLEASE send us an email!

Our Message To You

All my friends, 

Thank you very much for taking the time to check out this website and supporting our documentary! 

Here is what we are trying to do:

As some of you may know, the band LCD Soundsystem (our favorite) has announced their retirement. Along with this announcement, they have booked one FINAL show at Madison Square Garden on April 2nd, 2011.

To celebrate this bittersweet moment, all of our friends are planning on driving across the country (LA → NY). Along the way, we plan on filming a documentary about our favorite song, "All My Friends".  Hopefully we can capture the feelings and emotions that this incredibly powerful song evokes. If you haven't listened to it then please check it out!

During this road trip, we plan on meeting up with people of all ages across the country.  We want to meet other LCD fans, other music fans, or just other people who know what it feels like to have a deep connection with something inspiring.

To give you an idea on how big of fans we are, four of us already have an All My Friends tattoo (the top bar is Alex's).  This is truly more than a song to us, it is an anthem that we all intend to live by.

As I mentioned, we plan on meeting up with people like you during our journey. We want to interview you, dance with you and possibly bring YOU to the concert with us! The goal of this documentary, just as the song, is to celebrate friendship and the relationships you have throughout your life, because isn't that what it's all about?

We want to capture this moment for every fan out there and inspire the rest of you who may not be familiar with the band or the messages they convey. We're not worried about monetary profit. This is about ALL MY FRIENDS, even the ones I haven't met yet.

In order to make our vision a reality we need your help! We have all of the resources we need for as far as production is concerned, but need to raise money in order to fund the overall trip and miscellaneous filming costs.

We are asking for a $1 contribution. That's it! Feel free to give as many $1's as possible (all at once is okay), but either way we are eternally grateful for the support. We will not be able to give you a monetary return on this contribution, however to reward your generosity, a credit at the end of the film will be given to each donor under the heading All My Friends! We will also do everything in our power to see that each and every one of you is able to view the film upon its completion. Please include your name and email address so that we can make that happen!

Our goal is $30,000. I know this seems like a lot but if we get the word out there by passing this message to all our friends I feel like we can easily achieve this number!
